FAMILY

FAMILY

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
"Oh excuse me please" was my reply.

He said, "Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you."

We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still..

When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.

He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,

"While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.

Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."

By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.

"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree.

I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."

I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway."

I said, "Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don't you think?
So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

LOVE THY FAMILY

GLOBAL WARMING

ARE WE DOOMED

Professor James Lovelock , on tuesday 28/11/2006 at 5th John Collier lecture to Institute of Chemical Engineers in London declares that world population which is about 6.5 billion may come down to as load as 500 million, as the earth hots up and makes human survival difficult.

a polar bear walking on ground devoid of ice

He also replaced the term Global Warming by Global Heating
Prof. james is the expert who has proposed the Gaia theory and is working on the theory of Global Warming for quite some time.
graph depicting an exponential rise in temperature

He said that the delicate balance of atmosphere that has been drastically changed by the industrial revolution will reach its break-point this century.
As the carbon dioxide emission reaches its peak ; the world will heat up , causing water shortage ,destroying life in planets ocean and making it impossible for plants to grow.
graph showing the rise of carbon dioxide emission

He added , "There have been at least seven of these major climate changes before and we have to adapt . It is going to be tough and there will be some evolution of humans during it

oen of the 27 named tropical storms of 2005

He said that ," There is a very good evidence of what happened 55 millin tears ago when as much carbon dioxide was put into the atmosphere by the geology as is been done by us now . Temperature zoomed up and stayed there for 200,000 years then become normal.
a dry lake!!!!

"If it happens the only survivors will be those humans that can make there way to refuges or the polar areas . i think a awful lot of people will die but i dont see the human species dying out . i would think a hot earth would not support much over 500 million of us ."
He said attempts to tackle climate change will not solve the problem , but merely buy us some time . He warned there are no simple solutions and there is nothing
"We can do now to save this earth
ever increasing pollutions in the urban areas.

Are we Doomed ???
how much should we panic ?
And above all it is irreversible like a slow poisen that is definate to kill about 90% of mankind this very century, what can we possibly do ????

INSPIRATIONAL UPANISADS

INSPIRATIONAL UPANISADS

These are ancient indian texts that contain the most spectacular pieces
of philosophical jigsaw Most of these belong to the period prior to
advent of buddha in 7th century before christ
There are over 200 upanisads many of them sectarian
in caharacter an palpably post buddhistic and even post sankaracharya.

Principle upanisads those whish are accepted and commented upon by sankaracharya [AD 788-820]. These include
ISA
KENA
KATHA
PRASNA
MUNDAKA
MANDUKYA
TAITTIRIYA
AITAREYA
CHANDOGA
BRHADARANYAKA

Without understanding the upanisads it is impossible to get
an insight into indian history and culture . Every philosophical
and relegious development in indians is inspired by
this timeless knowedge banks

BHAKTI - path of devotion to a personal god

KARMA - an undetached action

AND spiritual insights of GITA are all inspired by tyhese great texts

In words of Bloomfield "There is no important form of hindu thought ,hetrodox buddhism included, that is not rooted in upanisads."

From Gita ., Buddha ,sankara , ramkrishna , gandhi , osho ,

swami vivekananda ,all have heavy impact of this

vedantic inspiration. It is the energy of this strengthening

and purifying philosophy of vedanta coupled with

energy of modern science and technology that swami vivekananda

has released for recreating India in the mordern age .

This energy has flowed at first to the west ,then to the east ,

to reacitivate the life of mordern man globally .

To the upanisads India owes almost all the brighter side of her life and culture.

To them she owes her impressive record of active toleration within her border and the uniformaly peaceful and benevolent nature of her foreign relations in the field of religion

To them she owes the singular absense of aggresive political and military policies and programmes on her part towards other nations during her millenia of history

To them she owes the periodical renewal of her national springs of insights , when they seem all but choked and about to dry up

To them also she owes the absence of heavy hand of all

powerful church and the tentackles of an inescapable

dogma on national life and mind ,allowing for the

emergence and unhampered functioning, in

suceeding periods, of free ,creative and universal spirits

who came to purify and reactivate

the dormant spirit of people. These where received

by the indian people and given divine honours ,

unlike the hostility an persecution , with which th
e
spiritual innovators were and still are received in

all sematic religions,in absence of the impersona

l background which the upanisads had provided for

the indian religion and whose possesion over ages

is an impressive feature of India;s long history.

In times that we live in , when we say chaos is prevalent , we fail to recognise o religious renaaissance that is taking place all over the planet

In past the religion was in the hands of a chosen few or
a body of priest , it was in the churches ,temples , books,
dogma , ceremonial form and ritual ,but now
this revolution is happening in which the relegious
ideas have become universal , vast and infinite and this
power is available to all of us . It is sometimes said the
religions are drying out , that spiritual ideas are
dying out of the world . I think on the contrary
these have begun to grow and reach out like the nutrints
of the roots reach each and every leaf and soon this tree
will be full of blosswoms and flowers .
As a human mind broadens , its spiritual steps broadens too.
The time has already come when a man cannot record a
thought without it reaching to all corners of the earth;
by merely physical means , we have come in touch with
the whole world so the future of religion has to become
as universal ,as wide and upanisads are going to
play a major role in this as they have always done
in the long history of religions

INSPIRATIONAL GANDHI

INSPIRATIONAL GANDHI

MOHANDAS KARAMCHAND GANDHI was born on October 2, 1869, at Porbandar, a small town on the western coast of India He was is and will be one of the legendary figures to walk on earth. But the most striking thing was his humbleness , his devotion to divine and his dream for freedom of his country without bloodshed. Below i present one of the best speeches that talks about Gandhian philosophy most clearly .

The Quit India speech by Mahatma Gandhi
August 8th 1942

Before you discuss the resolution, let me place before you one or two things, I want you to

understand two things very clearly and to consider them from the same point of view from

which I am placing them before you. I ask you to consider it from my point of view, because if

you approve of it, you will be enjoined to carry out all I say. It will be a great responsibility.

There are people who ask me whether I am the same man that I was in 1920, or whether there

has been any change in me. You are right in asking that question.

Let me, however, hasten to assure that I am the same Gandhi as I was in 1920. I have not

changed in any fundamental respect. I attach the same importance to non-violence that I did

then. If at all, my emphasis on it has grown stronger. There is no real contradiction between the

present resolution and my previous writings and utterances.

Occasions like the present do not occur in everybody’s and but rarely in anybody’s life. I want

you to know and feel that there is nothing but purest Ahimsa1 in all that I am saying and doing

today. The draft resolution of the Working Committee is based on Ahimsa, the contemplated

struggle similarly has its roots in Ahimsa. If, therefore, there is any among you who has lost faith

in Ahimsa or is wearied of it, let him not vote for this resolution.

Let me explain my position clearly. God has vouchsafed to me a priceless gift in the weapon of

Ahimsa. I and my Ahimsa are on our trail today. If in the present crisis, when the earth is being

scorched by the flames of Himsa2 and crying for deliverance, I failed to make use of the God

given talent, God will not forgive me and I shall be judged un-wrongly of the great gift. I must

act now. I may not hesitate and merely look on, when Russia and China are threatened.
Ours is not a drive for power, but purely a non-violent fight for India’s independence. In a

violent struggle, a successful general has been often known to effect a military coup and to set

up a dictatorship. But under the Congress scheme of things, essentially non-violent as it is,

there can be no room for dictatorship. A non-violent soldier of freedom will covet nothing for

himself, he fights only for the freedom of his country. The Congress is unconcerned as to who

will rule, when freedom is attained. The power, when it comes, will belong to the people of India,

and it will be for them to decide to whom it placed in the entrusted. May be that the reins will

be placed in the hands of the Parsis, for instance-as I would love to see happen-or they may be

handed to some others whose names are not heard in the Congress today. It will not be for you

then to object saying, “This community is microscopic. That party did not play its due part in

the freedom’s struggle; why should it have all the power?” Ever since its inception the Congress

has kept itself meticulously free of the communal taint. It has thought always in terms of the

whole nation and has acted accordingly. . .

I know how imperfect our Ahimsa is and how far away we are still from the ideal, but in Ahimsa

there is no final failure or defeat. I have faith, therefore, that if, in spite of our shortcomings, the

big thing does happen, it will be because God wanted to help us by crowning with success our

silent, unremitting Sadhana1 for the last twenty-two years.

I believe that in the history of the world, there has not been a more genuinely democratic

struggle for freedom than ours. I read Carlyle’s French Resolution while I was in prison, and

Pandit Jawaharlal has told me something about the Russian revolution. But it is my conviction

that inasmuch as these struggles were fought with the weapon of violence they failed to realize

the democratic ideal. In the democracy which I have envisaged, a democracy established by

non-violence, there will be equal freedom for all. Everybody will be his own master. It is to join

a struggle for such democracy that I invite you today. Once you realize this you will forget the

differences between the Hindus and Muslims, and think of yourselves as Indians only, engaged

in the common struggle for independence.

Then, there is the question of your attitude towards the British. I have noticed that there is

hatred towards the British among the people. The people say they are disgusted with their

behaviour. The people make no distinction between British imperialism and the British people.

To them, the two are one This hatred would even make them welcome the Japanese. It is most

dangerous. It means that they will exchange one slavery for another. We must get rid of this

feeling. Our quarrel is not with the British people, we fight their imperialism. The proposal for

the withdrawal of British power did not come out of anger. It came to enable India to play its

due part at the present critical juncture It is not a happy position for a big country like India to

be merely helping with money and material obtained willy-nilly from her while the United

Nations are conducting the war. We cannot evoke the true spirit of sacrifice and velour, so long

as we are not free. I know the British Government will not be able to withhold freedom from us,

when we have made enough self-sacrifice. We must, therefore, purge ourselves of hatred.

Speaking for myself, I can say that I have never felt any hatred. As a matter of fact, I feel

myself to be a greater friend of the British now than ever before. One reason is that they are

today in distress. My very friendship, therefore, demands that I should try to save them from

their mistakes. As I view the situation, they are on the brink of an abyss. It, therefore, becomes

my duty to warn them of their danger even though it may, for the time being, anger them to

the point of cutting off the friendly hand that is stretched out to help them. People may laugh,

nevertheless that is my claim. At a time when I may have to launch the biggest struggle of my

life, I may not harbour hatred against anybody.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Born on 12Th January 1863,swami Vivekanand is one of
the most spiritual and most influential sons of Indian soil
In fact 12th January is observed as National Youth Day all over India

Pundit Nehru said about him;" I do not know how many of the
younger generation read the speeches and writing of swami Vivekanand,
but i can tell you that many of my generation were very powerfully influenced
by him.if you read him,the curious thing you find is that they are not old ....
he gave us something which brings us , if I may use the word, a certain
pride in our inheritance.

Presented here are some of the most influential quotes by SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

--- Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest
this divinity within by controlling nature ,internal and external.
Do this either by work or workship or psychic control or philosophy-
by one or more ,or all of these -and be free
this is the whole of religion
Doctrines or dogmas or rituals or books or temples are
but secondary detail.
---Science has proved to me that physical individuality is a delusion
That really my body is one little continuous changing body
in an unbroken ocean of matter and Advaita [unity ]
is the necessary conclusion
with my other counterpart , SOUL.

--There is no polytheism in India . The rose
called by any other name would smell as sweet
NAMES ARE NOT EXPLANATION

--- Superstition is a great enemy of man , but bigotry is worse

---All the religions from the lowest fetishism , to the highest absolutes
mean so many attempts of the human soul to grasp and realise
the infinite . Each determined by the condition of its birth and
association ,and each of these marks a stage of progress ;
Every soul is a young eagle soaring higher and higher
and higher , gathering more and more strength till
it reaches the glorious sun.

--The contradictions come from the same truth
adapting itself to the varying circumstances of different
natures

---Whatever may be the position of philosophy ,whatever may be
the position of metaphysics,so long as there is such a thing as Death
in the world, so long as there is such a thing as weakness in the human heart
,so long as there is a cry going out of the heart of a man in his very weakness there shall
be faith in GOD.

---It is only with knowledge of spirit that the faculty of want is annihilated for ever,
so helping man spiritually is the highest help that can be given to him.
---All work is by nature composed of good and evil. We cannot do any work
which will not do some good somewhere; there cannot be any work which will not cause some harm somewhere...

--Arise , awake and stop not till the desired end is reached
Arise awake and stop not till the GOAL is reached .
And above all imagine these words in World Parliament of Religion
Chicago in winter of 1893 at age of 30!!!!! . Oration in a English so fluent and thoughts so clear and powerful that he immediately became one of the well known Indians in the world..

LIKE THE FLOWING RIVER

LIKE THE FLOWING RIVER
-by PAULO COELHO

"You dont always have to pretend to be strong,
there is no need to prove all the
time that everything is going well
You shouldnt be concerned about what other people are thinking
cry if need to
its good to cry out all your tears."

Simple and lovely is what this book is ,written

with mind so pure and innocent that it can be SIMPLE

and thoughts so bright and beautiful that they can be LOVELY.

PAULO is one author that is so simple to read and

is so profound to understand.everyday experiences ,

sudden insights, long nutured philosophies

all flow together like the flowing river

The underlying deeply relegious current touches

you with new meaning and some stories just

leave you with lump in your throat'.

Yet other stories are deeply inspirational

like the one about the 'pencil' and the

other about the 'pianist in a shopping mall'

In short a very simple and very lovely book

Thank you PAULO for such a great treat!!!.

quotes-1

I love you not because who you are, but because who I am when I am with you

There is no one in this world that worth your tears, and if they are, they will never make you cry.

If someone loves you not in the way you would like to, it does not mean that they don not love you in their own way

A good friend is the one that will hold your hand and will touch your heart.

The worst way to miss someone is to sit right next to them, knowing you will never be with them.

Never stop smiling even when you are sad. Someone might just fall in love with your smile.

Do not waste your time with someone who does not care wasting their time with you.

You might be just "a someone" in this world, but for someone, you are the entire world.

You might need to need many "wrong" people before you will meet the "right" one. Like that, you will highly appreciate them will it will happened.

Do not cry when it is over ? Be glad that it happened.

Do not "fight" for things to happen. The best things in life happen when you least expect them.

Be a better person and know always where you are coming from and who you are before you meet someone new, and hope that they will know you for who you are.

There will always be someone that will heart you, but you need to keep on trusting people?just with more caution

GODS OWN COUNTRY

GOD'S OWN COUNTRY
An American decided to write a book
about famous churches around the world.
So he bought a plane ticket and took a trip to china
. On his first day he was inside a church
taking photographs when he noticed
a golden telephone mounted on the wall with
a sign that read "$10,000 per call".
The American, being intrigued, asked a priest
who was strolling by what the telephone
was used for. The priest replied that it was
a direct line to heaven and that for $10,000
you could talk to God. The American thanked
the priest and went along his way.
Next stop was in japan. There, at a
very large cathedral, he saw the same
golden telephone with the same sign under it.
He wondered if this was the same kind of
telephone he saw in china and he asked a nearby
nun what its purpose was. She told him that it
was a direct line to heaven and that for $10,000
he could talk to God. "O.K., thank you," said the
American. He then traveled to pakistan ,
srilanka, russia , Germany and France .
In every church he saw the same golden
telephone with the same "$10,000 per call"
sign under it. The American, upon leaving
Vermont decided to travel to up to India to
see if Indians had the same phone.
He arrived in India , and again, in the first
church he entered, there was the same
golden telephone, but this time the sign under
it read "One Rupee per call." The American was
surprised so he asked the priest about the sign.
"Father, I've traveled all over World and I've
seen this same golden telephone in many churches.
I'm told that it is a direct line to Heaven, but in
the US the price was $10,000 per call.
Why is it so cheap here?" The priest smiled
and answered,
"You're in India now, son - it's a local call".

TRUTH LIES BENEATH-TAJMAHAL

truth lies beneath
IS TAJMAHAL A TOMB OR TEMPLE
no one has ever challenged it except Prof. P. N. Oak,

who believes the whole world has been duped.

In his book Taj Mahal: The True Story,

Oak says theTaj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz's tomb

but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva

(then known as Tejo Mahalaya). In the course of his research

O ak discovered that the Shiva temple palace

was usurped by Shah Jahan from then Maharaja of Jaipur,

Jai Singh. In his own court chronicle,Badshahnama,

Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful

grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai SIngh

for Mumtaz's burial . The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur

stillretains in his secret collection two orders from

Shah Jahan forsurrendering the Taj building.

Using captured temples and mansions,

as a burial place fordead courtiers and royalty was a

common practice among Muslim rulers. For

example, Humayun,Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula

and Safdarjung are all buriedin such mansions.

Oak's inquiries began with the name of Taj Mahal.

He says the term "Mahal" has never been used for a

building in any Muslim countries from Afghanisthan

to Algeria. "The unusual explanation that the term

TajMahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal was illogical

in atleast two respects. Firstly, her name was never
Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani, "

he writes. Secondly, one cannot omit the

first three letters 'Mum' from a woman'sname to

derive the remainder as the name for the building.

"Taj Mahal, he claims, is a corrupt version of
Tejo Mahalaya, or Lord Shiva's Palace. Oak

also says the love story of Mumtaz and Shah

blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists .

Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time

corroborates the love story. Furthermore, Oak
cites several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal

predatesShah Jahan's era, and was a temple

dedicated to Shiva, worshipped by Rajputs of Agra

city. For example, Prof. Marvin Miller of New

York took a fewsamples from the riverside

doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed
that the door was 300 years older than Shah

Jahan. European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo,

who visited Agra in 1638 (only seven years after Mumtaz's death),

describes the life of the cit y in his memoirs.

But he makes no reference to the Taj Mahal being built.

The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor
to Agra within a year of Mumtaz's death,

also suggest the Taj was a noteworthy building
well before Shah Jahan's time.

Prof. Oak points out a number of design and

architectural inconsistencies that support the
belief of the Taj Mahal being a typical Hindu temple

ratherthan a mausoleum. Many rooms in the Taj

! Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan's
time and are still inaccessible to the public.

Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of

Lord Shiva and other objects commonly used
for worship rituals in Hindu temples . Fearing political

backlash, Indira Gandhi's government tried to have
Prof. Oak's bookwithdrawn from the bookstores,

and threatened the Indian publisher of the first
edition dire consequences . There is only one

way to discredit orvalidate Oak's research.

The current government should open the
sealed rooms of the Taj Mahal under U.N. supervision,

and let international experts investigate.

THIS IS YET ANOTHER STORY OF HOW EASILY
WE ACCEPT EVRYTHING THAT IS TOLD
TO US AND NEVER QUESTION THE VALIDITY
OF SUCH THINGS
its again our own conditioning that comes in between
ourselves and the truth
as its said
'IF YOU ARE NOT CURIOUS YOU ARE NOT HUMAN AT ALL"

STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS

Strength and weakness
A 10-year-old boy decided to study judo despite the
fact that he had lost his left arm in a devastating
car accident.

The boy began lessons with an old
Japanese judo master. The boy was doing well, so he
couldn't understand why, after three months of
training the master had taught him only one move.

"Sensei,"(Teacher in Japanese) the boy finally said,
"Shouldn't I be learning more moves?
"This is the only
move you know, but this is the only move you'll ever
need to know," the sensei replied.

Not quite
understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy
kept training. Several months later, the sensei took
the boy to his first tournament.

Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two
matches. The third match proved to be more difficult,

but after some time, his opponent became impatient and
charged; the boy deftly used his one move to win the
match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in
the finals.

This time, his opponent was bigger,
stronger, and more experienced. For a while, the boy
appeared to be overmatched. Concerned that the boy
might get hurt, the referee called a time-out.

He was
about to stop the match when the sensei intervened.

"No," the sensei insisted, "Let him continue." Soon
after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical
mistake: he dropped his guard. Instantly,

the boy used
his move to pin him. The boy had won the match and the
tournament.

He was the champion. On the way home, the boy and
sensei reviewed every move in each and every
match.

Then the boy summoned the courage to ask what
was really on his mind.

"Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one
move?"

"You won for two reasons," the sensei answered."First,
you've almost mastered one of the most difficult
throws in all of judo. And second, the only known
defense for that move is for your opponent to grab
your left arm."

The boy's biggest weakness had become his biggest
strength.

Sometimes we feel that we have certain weaknesses and
we blame God, the circumstances or ourselves for it
but we never know that our weaknesshttp://inspirational-india.blogspot.com/2006/11/strength-and-weakness-10-year-old-boy.html#linkses can become our
strengths one day.

Each of us is special and important, so never think
you have any weakness, never think of pride or pain,
just live your life to its fullest and extract the
best out of it!"

mother

By the time the God created mothers, He was into the sixth day working overtime. An Angel appeared and said "Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the God answered and said, "Have you read the spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not elastic; have 200 movable parts, all replaceable; run on black coffee and leftovers; have a lap that can hold three children at one time and that disappears when she stands up; have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart; and have six pairs of hands."

The Angel was astounded at the requirements for this one. "Six pairs of hands! No way!" said the Angel.

The God replied, "Oh, it's not the hands that are the problem. It's the three pairs of eyes that mothers must have!"

"And that's on the standard model?" the Angel asked.

The God nodded in agreement, "Yep, one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing even though she already knows.

Another pair in the back of her head are to see what she needs to know even though no one thinks she can. And the third pair are here in the front of her head. They are for looking at an errant child and saying that she understands and loves him or her without even saying a single word."

The Angel tried to stop the God "This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish."

"But I can't!" The God protested, "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart.

She already heals herself when she is sick and can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand in the shower."

The Angel moved closer and touched the woman, "But you have made her so soft, God."

"She is soft," the God agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?" asked the Angel.

The God replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason, and negotiate."

The Angel then noticed something and reached out and touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like You have a leak with this model. I told You that You were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak." the God objected. "That's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the Angel asked.

The God said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her disappointment, her pain, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride."

The Angel was impressed. "You are a Genius, God. You thought of everything for this one. You even created the tear!"

The God looked at the Angel and smiled and said, "I'm afraid you are wrong again. I created the woman, but she created the tear!"

UN-CONDITIONAL

As I was passing the elephants, I suddenly stopped, confused by the fact
that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to
their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants
could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they
did not.

I saw a trainer near by and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals
just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

"Well," he said, "when they are very young and much smaller we use the
same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it's enough to hold them. As
they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They
believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free."

I was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds
but because they believed they couldn't, they were stuck right where they
were .

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief
that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before
AND then the problem lies how to change?

ALL PROBLEMS THAT ARISE HAVE A SOLUTION!!!!

THIS IS THE FIRST REALISATION THAT ONE HAS TO ACCEPT

the first step to solve a problem is to completely understand the
problem ...very often we fail to spend time with the questions and
directely jump into finding the answers

FIRST REALISE THE PROBLEM AND ACCEPT ITS SIGNIFICANCE

realise that this conditioning does not allow us
to grow , we can grow physically a s the elephants
but our minds fail to grow beyond these fixed conditions
that we have learened . the realisation is to be complete
, total from all our being and then some thing
changes immediately

THE REALISATION HELPS DESTROY THE OLD AND GIVE BIRTH TO NEW

all questions are like seeds, we have to be with
them and nourish them and then one day the seed
changes completely to give rise to something very new ,
the new life that has broken free of the old hard shell
.the question is destroyed and what
remains is the begginning of the answer

THE NEW REALISATION IS TO BE NOURISHED TO GROW INTO A FULL BLOWN SOLUTION

its the destruction of old that triggers
this growth of new , this requires constant
ATTENTION for its natural growth

IF WE DO NOT GIVE ADEQUATE ATTENTION THIS CAN GROW INTO ANOTHER QUESTION INSTEAD OF ANSWERING THE ORIGINAL QUESTION

well all of us do think this will be a
rather tedious and very demanding job and thus
we continue living as we are living and never try to break our chains
its because we think that we
cannot break the bonds , that we are unable to break them
YET BEWARE OF THE FALSE PROCESSES THAT APPEAR TO BE SYMBOLIC OF REBELLION BUT REALLY ARE GIVING NO FREEDOM FROM CONDITIONING

INSPIRE LOVE

Love is Never Silent
A loving heart, a gentle smile
a warm and tender touch
We give so many things in life
but nothing means as much.
A little inspiration
when one loses hope,
A kind word of encouragement
when they no longer seem to cope.
A simple phrase, "I love you"
when no one else is there
Taking hold onto a hand
in a little heartfelt prayer.
Love is never silent
It has so much to say,
And it is our greatest blessing
when we give it all away.

EXPRESS THY LOVE

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.

So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores.

He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

She looked up and asked "Can I help you?" She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.

He said "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD." He picked one out and gave her money for it.

"Would you like me to wrap it for you?" she asked, smiling her cute smile again.

He nodded and she went to the back.

She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.

So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...

!!!RRRRRING! !!
The mother picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"

It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, "You don't know? He passed away yesterday... "

The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother.

Later in the day. the mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.

Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it.
It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn The mother opened another CD...

Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn

Love is... when you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, "I Love You . . . "

Moral of The Story:

If you Really Love Some one Please Expressed your feeling and let them know how much you Love they might also love you in the same way as you love Before it is too late.

express your love to the person you love before it is too late.......AND KNOW THY LOVE

Inspirational and Heart Touching Story " Four Wives"...... ......... .
There was a rich merchant who had 4 wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He's very proud of her and always wanted to show off her to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men.
He too, loved his 2nd wife. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchant's confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times.
Now, the merchant's 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.
One day, the merchant fell ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, "Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, I'll be alone. How lonely I'll be!"
Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.
The answer cut like a sharp knife right into the merchant's heart. The sad merchant then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is so good over here! I'm going to remarry when you die!" The merchant's heart sank and turned cold.
He then asked the 2nd wife, "I always turned to you for help and you've always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." The answer came like a bolt of thunder and the merchant was devastated.
Then a voice called out : "I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have !"
Moral from The story for every once Life:
Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives
a. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.
b. Our 3rd wife ? Our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others.
c. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
d. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material, wealth and sensual pleasure.
Guess what? It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go. Perhaps it's a good idea to cultivate and strengthen it now rather than to wait until we're on our deathbed to lament

love of a father

The Love of a Father
My heart had been broken

I thought it never would heal

So overcome with despair I could no longer feel

My first born child had been taken from me

Held captive by demons that would not let her be

I watched in horror as she traveled this path

A gauntlet I know for I’ve felt the same wrath

I know all too well the pain of being alone

Not knowing of love or the warmth of a home

I had hoped my mistakes would save her such pain

But it didn’t you see and I had to live it again

Only this time it was different as it wasn’t me

For this was my child and I could not make her see

I feared for her life and I feared for her soul

And I desperately hoped she would climb out of that hole

I lay awake in bed praying as best as I knew how

That God would help her, God please help her now

As hours turned to days and days into weeks

My fears and my hopes rose and fell like twin peaks

Then one day a call came from a voice I knew not

They told me my daughter was brought in on a cot

They told me she was hopeless and she had no one to call

That she had burned all her bridges and it was now time to fall

But this angel from God she knew better you see

Because she picked up the phone and she dialed me

When I walked in the door I could not believe my own eyes

Because I saw the shell of a person with no will to try

I told her I loved her and that the nightmare could end

All she need to do is give me her hand

For the love of a father is simple and true

And sometimes all it takes is to start anew

So know that you are never and I mean never alone

And that two lives were saved when I picked up the phone

Never question your right to be happy in life

For it can be achieved despite all the strife

Look to your children and their eyes full of hope

If you look long enough you won’t ever need dope.
